Do well in 'developing UK tourist destinations'

4.2 & 4.3

Introduction

In the last section you produced a report about what could happen in your chosen destination to increase its appeal to different types of tourist.

In this section, you will need to develop your ideas about what should happen in your chosen destination to increase appeal to different types of tourist.

After undertaking some research, you will need to produce a report which makes a series of suggestions about what should take place in your chosen destination to increase its appeal to different types of tourist.

In order to complete your report successfully you will need to:

  • Undertake some research about the ways in which your chosen destination should increase its appeal to tourists.
  • Think about a number of ideas which would attract different types of tourists.
  • Make sure that these ideas are feasible and realistic – in other words that they are suitable for the destination.
  • Present your ideas so as to persuade people reading your report that your ideas would work.
